Francisco Jiménez, PhD – The Migrant Experience: A Personal Story

The Redlands Adult Literacy Program invites you to hear Author Francisco Jiménez, Phd The Migrant Experience:  A Personal Story.  Author and educator, Francisco emigrated with his family from Tlaquepaque, Mexico, to California, and worked alongside his parents in the fields of California.  He received his BA from Santa Clara University and an MA and Ph.D. in Latin American literature literature from Columbia University.  He is an award-winning author, who wrote The Circuit:  Stories from the Life of A Migrant Child, which was read by over 125 learners and tutors in the Redlands Adult Literacy Program.  The book emphasized the importance of education and family.  We hope that you will join us in welcoming Dr. Jiménez.
